Ingressive Capital has asked startups in sub-Saharan Africa to apply for its funding between $50,000 and $100,000.

The venture capital, part of an African investment advisory firm Ingressive LLC, says successful startups will also receive follow-on investment.

“No matter where you are in sub-Saharan Africa, apply. We’re looking for the best of the best, irrespective of who you know or where you’re based,” said Ingressive Capital’s Maya Horgan Famodu.

Ingressive capital is a sector-agnostic fund that makes pre-seed and seed investments in tech-enabled companies, and has previously backed companies like Paystack and Tizeti.

“Fundraising is difficult. We want to help the best and the brightest founders across Africa stay focused and keep building. We’re looking for great ideas built by solid teams,” added Famodu.
