Spanish delivery startup, Glovo, has appointed Priscilla Muhiu as its new General Manager for Kenya.
Priscilla is taking over the reigns from William Bentahall who has in turn been appointed Glovo’s General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa.
Before this appointment she served in the capacity of Africa Marketing Head for Glovo. She was in charge of the team that launched the brand in Kenya and Côte d’Ivoire.
Muhiu previously worked at e-commerce company OLX and logistics firm, Sendy.
She takes on the new role with a wealth of industry knowledge with regards to growth hacking, market strategy development, and business modelling.
She has also expressed her passion about solving problems in Africa through the use of innovative technologies.
Priscilla said, “I am delighted to be taking over from William (Benthall) as the general manager for Kenya. I’m looking forward to continuing the good work that we have done here with Glovo, in a market that is very vibrant and full of promising prospects.”
Glovo is an online marketplace that connects its users to vendors near them. It allows users to order, send and receive anything within the categories of; Food, Stores, Supermarket, Grocery or Beverages.
