According to reports, WhatsApp is now working on a new feature that lets you send messages that disappear automatically after 24 hours.
Last year, WhatsApp launched a new feature that lets you send messages that would disappear after seven days. Apparently, that’s too long for many people, so WhatsApp is now working on letting you choose between seven days and 24 hours instead.
The new feature was spotted by WABetaInfo – the Disappearing Messages options are to turn it off, have messages disappear after 7 Days, and 24 Hours. It is under development and will launch in a future update of WhatsApp for various platforms.

You can turn disappearing messages on or off in one-on-one conversations, but group admins are only able to do this on group chats. WhatsApp says that turning the feature on doesn’t affect messages that were previously sent or received.
