Despite joining video calls from our desktops most of the time, we often turn to our mobile devices for many calls. Video calls can drain a battery in no time, so Google is rolling out a new data saver mode in the Google Meet mobile app.
Turning on the feature will restrict data, conserve battery power, and decrease the power needed by your phone’s CPU – allowing you to continue your call even if you forgot to charge your battery.
How to Turn On Saver Mode on Google Meet
- Open the Google Meet app.
- Tap on the three-dots menu.
- Go to your Settings.
- Toggle Limit data usage ON.
- Join your video call.
