The 23 W wireless charger is currently available for pre-order, and it’s designed specifically for the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. A few weeks after the new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro debut, Google’s Qi-enabled wireless charger, dubbed Google Pixel Stand 2nd gen, is now available for pre-order.
With a power of 23 W, this charger achieves the same power as a cable charger, as Google so eloquently states. Considering that the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro have a minor difference over the maximum charging power that may be accepted, this is quite an amusing highlight.
As a result, the Google Pixel Stand 2nd gen is compatible with the new Pixel and all older Pixels that support Qi wireless charging and the Pixel Buds. It’s worth noting that Google hasn’t shut down their product because it works with “hundreds” of devices.
This means that cellphones that aren’t Google-branded aren’t available. Finally, the base is described as being quiet and vented, which will help to keep the smartphone cool when charging, for example, during Netflix sessions. Pre-ordering this wireless charger for the cost of 79 euros is consequently feasible right now.
