In 2022 the Cupertino firm may do things differently from its traditions. One of the few things that may stand out from its next iPhones series is an end to the notch, seen from the previous iPhones. The iPhone 13 was a big breakthrough for apple, and it was still since its inception a couple of months ago. Its sales are expected to go up before the year ends.

According to The Elec, the next iPhone generation will have a new look on the datasheet side, with ever more power and features, but this new range will also mark the end of the “notch,” which has been grafted on the top of the iPhone screen for a few years now.

As a reminder:

According to several sources, precisely John Proser claims the iPhone 14 may see in the limelight in early September come the following year. It is also possible the manufacturer would drop the 5.4-inch panel size in favor of the 6.1 & 6.7-inch screen for the iPhone 14 series with a 120 Hz refresh rate. However, Elec still suggests that at least one model of the iPhone 14s would still benefit from the 60HZ refresh rate.

The Processor market has stiff competition at the moment. Starting with the shortage of chips, Qualcomm guys have started adapting the 4nm manufacturing process for its chipsets, as seen in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processors. It’s not surprising that Apple would also Apply the same process, but it will utilize A16 Bionic chips with 4nm engravings this time. There is also a probability of the manufacturer taking advantage of an in-house made 5G modem. Again all this is based on rumors, and with time, we will update you with all the news concerning the iPhone 14 series of smartphones.

Only a few models would be impacted

Despite a tiny reduction on the latest models, this is good news for those having problems getting used to the iPhone’s somewhat imposing notch. However, reports suggest that this “novelty” will only apply to a few iPhone 14 variants, especially the Pro and Pro Max models.
