IOS 15.2 was released on compatible iPhones and the general public early this week. Some of the novelties from the package include new privacy features and a more flexible Macro mode, multi speech recognition, and Apple Music Voice.

Apple Music  Voice

The new music streaming service bundle, Apple Music Voice, is now available for a reduced pricing at only 4.99 euros(636 KES) per month and limited use via Siri, particularly on HomePod and HomePod tiny speakers.

The voice assistant permits you to access the whole catalogue, playlists, and radio stations and give recommendations depending on your previous listening history. Multi-user speech recognition is also available on the HomePod but only after updating your speaker via the Home app

Macro mode

iOS 15.2  now allows you to activate Macro mode via a button on the tulip-shaped screen that displays on the Camera app. This functionality, however, is only seen on the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max iPhones only

New Privacy Features

The notification’s whole look has been altered. The important alerts are now displayed as thumbnail tiles. There is also a new privacy report in Settings that shows you the activities done by your applications, including network activities. The option to “hide my email address” is now available in the Mail app, but you will need an iCloud+ membership to achieve this. This feature enables you to send emails from a random address, ensuring that your contacts are unaware of your precise address.

Digital heir

In Case of your death, iOS 15.2 now allows you to name a legatee who will be able to take charge of your social media accounts just like Facebook and Twitter

How to download

To take advantage of iOS 15.2 go to Settings > General > Software Update and select Download and Install and restart your iPhone
