Startups operating in Kenya in the Blockchain space stand a chance to take home $50,000 from the Sankore Pitch Competition Tour (PCT) which is set to take place in Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa.

Sankore PCT aims to increase NEAR protocol adoption in blockchain and crypto start-ups in Africa and the first PCT will be held in Nairobi Kenya seeking to increase NEAR protocol adoption in blockchain and crypto start-ups in Africa then extended to Nigeria and South Africa later.

The event will have both an offline meet-up and a webinar which will happen one week before the main physical event. The webinar will be held on Zoom on the 22nd, January 2022 while the physical event, targeting 100 startups in Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and NEAR Protocol fields. Other players in the fintech space as well as accountants, and bankers are also encouraged to attend.

The Nairobi event will be held at iHub Nairobi on 29th January. The webinar will be held on 22nd January. iHub Kenya will also be an activation center on 18th and 19th January. Other activation centers include tech hubs and local universities, all of which will be communicated on our social media pages.

The main event will commence at 5:30 pm and officially kick off at 6:30 pm at the iHub Kenya. All participating parties are encouraged to keep time.

The winner from the Nairobi PCT will benefit from Sankore’s Incubation Program of three months with a chance to receive a Fast Grant of up to $50,000.
