Standard Chartered launches SC Shilingi Funds platform, a low-ticket Money Market Fund offering.

SC Shilingi funds, a low-ticket money markets fund proposition for Standard Chartered Bank clientele, has been launched today by Standard Chartered Bank Kenya in partnership with Sanlam Investments East Africa Ltd (Sanlam) and Mangosteen BCC Pte Ltd (Bambu).

Clients can invest as little as KShs 1000 in the 100 percent digital investment product offered on the SC Mobile app, earn competitive interest, and withdraw funds at any time.

Keeping in mind their client needs, the investment journey has been made simple, seamless and intuitive: –

 The product will enable one move money from your current account daily, weekly or monthly to the Money Market Fund managed by Sanlam. The platform will combine a customer current account with the local currency Money Market Fund investment to provide client with attractive returns, higher than they would ordinarily get from a current account and/or savings account while maintaining a relatively high level of liquidity.
