This feature was previously exclusively available to iOS users, but it is now available to Android users as well.
How to use this latest feature:
- Navigate to the texts of the individual with whom you have matched.
- A video icon can be found at the top of the screen. Tap it
- All you have to do now is slide the toggle to activate the video chat option.
- You will receive an authentication message after both parties have unlocked this option.
- You can now quickly select the video call option and speak with your matched person face to face.
Tinder has announced that this feature is quite safe and trusted as it requires the confirmation of both parties for getting a video call.
In case of any stalkerish vibes from someone, you can either report the person or you can ignore the calls just like a normal video call.
“Tinder has been in the top rankings of the most downloaded lifestyle application this year. It is also in the third position on iOS in the United States,” explained App Annie.
