Auto Shows are a perfect place for new car companies to showcase their products to the world. At the ongoing New York International Auto Show, Deus Vayanne was unveiled with a planned output of 2,200 horsepower, no other electric vehicle has reached such heights.
Unlike most new companies which only show picture concepts of their upcoming cars, Dues Vayanne was revealed in a real life prototype. The company gains credibility by partnering with well known bodies in the auto industry. The supercar is based on an EV platform that’s co-developed by Williams Advanced Engineering, a company known for their work in Formula 1 cars. In addition, the design is a result of collaborating with Italdesign, a company owned by Lamborghini and has been credited in designing concept and production cars for BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini and many others.
Italdesign’s work is responsible for the overall look of the car which Deus describes as “design language of symmetry and infinity”. The infinity sign inspired features include the front grille and back as well as parts of the interior.
Back to raw power, Deus says the 2,200 hp car can go up to 400 km/h (248 mph) and can sprint from standstill to 100 km/h in just under 1.99 seconds. However, all those figures were taken from a simulation software so real life numbers may vary. If they pull it off, the Deus Vayanne will be the most powerful EV on the planet.
On matters of availability, the Deus Vayanne will be very exclusive with only 99 examples made and the first one will ship in 2025 at an unknown price.
