Huawei is set to launch the Huawei Mate XS 2, a new classic foldable phone revolutionizing design and experience. The Mate XS 2 will be launched on April 28 at the product launch event to be held at the Huawei headquarters in China.
The company is yet to announce the folding style but the teaser video earlier posted by Huawei reveals an out-folding design. Huawei’s initial foldable phones the Mate X and Mate XS fold outwards. Huawei previously adopted Samsung’s unfolding design with the Mate X2. This will be the first out-folding device since 2020.
Huawei brings several advancements like ultra-thin glass protection, durable foldable displays and unique horizontal foldable hinge designs that open and close in a side by side direction.
The tech giant has not confirmed much details about the launch and the device, we expect more leaks, especially after the launch.
Going by the specifications of the Mate Xs, we are likely to expect an 8-inch foldable display, a 5G embed Kirin 990 or a more recent Kirin chipset that is powerful. We also expect a massive camera set-up probably a 50MP main camera or a similar to the Mate XS.
