WhatsApp has continued to add new features to its app while also improving current ones.
The WhatsApp Status feature, which is similar to Facebook and Instagram Stories, is getting a makeover from the Meta-owned messaging app.
Rich Link Preview is supported.
WhatsApp is changing the way links show in status updates. You won’t see previews of links posted here right now, but the chat app is working on adding them. The target picture from the website, title, description, and URL are all visible in this new style.
This change is available on the iOS beta app.
New Status Text Interface.
WhatsApp’s text status interface has been improved. The options for adding emojis, and text, and changing the background theme colour have been moved to the top of the page.
This is an attempt by the corporation to unify its design across its Android and iOS applications; the iOS version already employs this design.
