Android 13 beta 4, the version before the final release of Google’s upcoming mobile operating system, has just been made available.
At least for Pixel smartphones, the following operating system’s formal release is just a few weeks away. Recall that before the finalized version of Android 13 can be deployed, it must first pass through several stages.
First, Developer Previews provide developers access to the OS early on to lay the groundwork and begin customizing their apps. The RFPs have been finished. Make room for beta versions more geared toward the broader population eager to explore the novelties. Thus, Android Beta 2 appeared during Google I/O 2022.
The OS should be properly presented in its finished form at the beginning of the following year. A sizable number of devices will be updated to the final version of Android 13 by the end of 2022, although the process will continue in 2023.
Naturally, devices that run this OS natively will also be made available in the interim. You need a Pixel 4 or Pixel 4 XL at the very least to test Android 13 Beta 4.
