Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE showed up in the IMEI database and is certified with the model number, 2210129SG. It has also appeared on several certification bodies’ websites such as the FCC, IMDA, and EC, and has been said to be a remake of Xiaomi CIVI 2.
Some of the specifications of the device that were revealed by the FCC certification include its memory and storage configuration. Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G will have 6 / 8 GB of RAM and 128 / 256 GB of internal storage space and will run on Android 12 with MIUI 13. The phone will also support 5G networks.
Other features that may be borrowed from the CIVI 2 are the display which comprises an AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, one Snapdragon 7 Gen1, a double selfie camera from 32 + 32 MP with wide angle and a Front Dual Flash LED.
The CIVI 2 smartphone has been on retail in the Chinese market only but with the rebrand, it is expected to hit the global market soon. The launch date is expected to come before the end of this month.
