Elon Musk on Twitter Appears to Have Lost His Job

Elon Musk is now in charge of Twitter after finalizing the $44 Billion deal. Sources have revealed that the new Twitter boss did not waste any time to accomplish his first desire by firing three top executives including the CEO Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal, and Chief Legal Counsel Vijaya Gadde.

The deal was finalized a few hours before the commencement of a trial over the previous cancellation of the deal. Understandably Elon must have been pissed. A Delaware judge had threatened to set a trial if the case had not been settled outside court by Friday.

Elon was not on good terms with CEO Parag Agrawal, with whom they fell out in April and CFO Ned Segal who together took him to court through their lawyer Chief Legal Counsel Vijaya Gadde, who has worked for the company for 11 years.

Elon Musk aims at increasing Twitter subscribers and revenue.

“The reason I acquired Twitter is because it is important to the future of civilization to have a common digital town square, where a wide range of beliefs can be debated in a healthy manner, without resorting to violence…

There is currently great danger that social media will splinter into far right wing and far left wing echo chambers that generate more hate and divide our society.” He wrote.
