Fawry, the Egypt-based payments provider company has announced its cooperation with the smart schools organization .
The partnership is intended to enhance the adoption of digital payments in the education sector, which benefits students and parents, through the use of Fawry.
Hossam Ezz, Chief Commercial Officer of Fawry, said: “We are very pleased with our partnership with Smart, the company that owns the smart schools organization (Smart Schools) that embodies Fawry’s strategic direction in making partnerships and agreements with various institutions and companies in many sectors.
He added: “Fawry” also seeks to digitize payment processes for the education sector and work to shift from cash solutions to secure and advanced digital payment solutions.
As part of the deal, Smart Schools will enable students and parents to easily pay all tuition fees and their digital payments through “Fawry” portal, eliminating the need to rely on traditional payment methods.
On the other hand, Fawry is working on digitizing the education sector and schools through the latest electronic payment solutions for more than 625 smart schools and nearly 2 million and 400 thousand students, through various Fawry channels such as Fawry POS machines that cover all parts of Egypt, in addition to Fawry Plus branches spread across all governorates, and myFawry mobile application.
Ahmed El-Laithi, CEO of Smart, which owns the smart schools organization (Smart Schools), stated: “We are proud of our partnership with Fawry for what it is doing in implementing the Egyptian state’s strategies for digital transformation in accordance with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
