Nigerian entrepreneur Obi Cubana has unveiled Enviable Transport, a new electric car-hailing service launched in the nation’s capital, Abuja.
This move marks a significant step towards environmentally friendly transportation solutions in the city.
Enviable Transport boasts a fleet of over 100 hybrid electric vehicles, aiming to provide affordable, safe, and eco-friendly transportation options for residents.
The company emphasizes its commitment to combating “one chance” incidents and kidnappings, prevalent security concerns in the city.
The firm has partnered with CIG Motors, owners of GAC Motors and Wuling EV, to secure high-quality electric vehicles for its fleet. Additionally, the company launched a user-friendly mobile app, offering a seamless booking and ride experience for customers.
Mr Cubana said, “Enviable Transport is here to ensure we reduce to the barest minimum the risks of urban transportation, to curb ‘one chance’ and kidnapping. With our service, you will know who is driving you at all times.”
