Google Cloud has announced the appointment of Noor Al-Sulaiti as the Head of Security Business Development and Government Relations for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa region (META).
Recognized for her innovative leadership in the telecommunications and technology sectors, Ms Noor brings extensive experience to her new role.
This appointment reaffirms Google Cloud’s dedication to the region and safeguarding digital assets of governments.
Ms Noor will spearhead Google’s security expansion in the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa, highlighting the increasing importance of cybersecurity for the company.
“She will establish strategic partnerships with the public sector to deploy Google Cloud’s advanced cybersecurity solutions, including CyberShield, tailored specifically for governments and inspired by the concept of collective defense against shared attackers,” Google Cloud noted.
Ms Noor’s distinguished career includes serving as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ooredoo Oman, where she became the youngest and first female CEO, leading the company’s transformation into a digitally-driven, data-centric, and customer-focused organization.
Prior to this, she held executive positions at Starlink in Qatar and Phono and FASTtelco in Kuwait.
Ms Noor has been recognized as one of the most influential businesswomen by Forbes Middle East and other prominent publications.
