Samsung is finally adopting the Android’s seamless feature update for the recently launched Galaxy A55 5G smartphone. This update comes nearly eight years after Google announced the feature.

Basically, the seamless update feature also known as the Google A/B partitions makes it a lot easier when updating. Rather than waiting for several minutes to have your phone get updates. With the A/B partitions feature, Android installs updates on your device parallelly which lets you ese your phone while the process runs in the background. You won’t experience downtimes while making calls, sending messages or while using any app on the phone.

Traditionally, You would be required to download or unzip the update package then manually update your device. The update was also slower than usual.

Samsung Galaxy A55 5G is the first Samsung smartphone with the seamless update joining other big brands such as Motorola, Nokia, OnePlus, Sony, Vivo, Oppo and Xiaomi.
