Galaxy S25 Ultra | First Impressions

Samsung Electronics recently launched the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25, touted as the best AI smartphones in the smartphone market with multimodal AI agents.

The S25 Ultra, like the rest of the Galaxy S25 series is powered by a customized Snapdragon^® 8 Elite Mobile Platform which promises greater on-device processing power for this phone plus its Galaxy AI applications. The Ultra is super-fast, at this point and processor can power a number of open applications in one go without any lag.

The phone also comes with a superior camera range with Galaxy’s next-gen ProVisual Engine. We will have a deep dive into this later.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra comes with an ergonomic exterior with smoother edges and a comfortable grip. It’s redesigned One UI 7 interface is cool and gives a premium look. Samsung says the phone comes in Titanium Jetblack, Titanium Jadegreen, Titanium Pinkgold, Titanium Silverblue, Titanium Black, Titanium Gray and Titanium Whitesilver.

The Titanium frame keeps the Galaxy S25 Ultra strong and protected and its display is reinforced with Corning® Gorilla® Armor 2 glass and IP68-rated water and dust resistance. As an AI smartphone, the phone uses Galaxy AI and Google Gemini for search, drafts, personalized briefings and just any info one might need throughout the day.

There are various AI features which will get to for photography, audio voices, music, wind and videos, notes among others. Remember Circle to Search? The feature allows one to instantly search anything, even a song they hear in the moment by simply circling an object on the screen.

For photography, the phone comes with a 200MP Wide-Angle lens and an upgraded 50MP Ultra Wide lens for more detail in every frame. The Front Camera has 12MP Selfie camera while the Rear Camera comes with 50MP Ultra Wide, 200MP Wide-Angle 2x Optical Quality Zoom, 50MP Telephoto 5x Optical Zoom and 10x Optical Quality Zoom and 10MP Telephoto 3x Optical Zoom cameras.

For storage, the variants come with 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra boasts a more rounded design, has a slimmer body, fortified in a titanium frame, with an improved grip in the hand. It has a 6.9-inch display and comes with a reduced bezel.
