NCBA Group was feted at second position at the seventh edition of the annual National Diversity and Inclusion Awards and Recognition (DIAR Awards) for its initiatives that promote innovation, sustainability and socially cohesive workplaces and societies in Kenya.

NCBA Group was celebrated as a major driver of innovation, supporting start-ups and tech-driven solutions in the region. Under Innovation & Technology, NCBA reached 79 high schools and 43 universities, impacted 2,979 startups and entrepreneurs.

“We’re celebrating big wins from the National Diversity&Inclusion Awards!These awards recognize organizations driving sustainable business practices,social unity&resilience in Kenya.We’re honored to be acknowledged for our #NCBAChangeTheStory commitment to making a lasting impact,” announced the firm.

The group engaged 158,760 students who generated 1,241 new ideas and up-scaled 9 high-potential local entrepreneurs, fostering business growth.

NCBA Group didn’t stop there, it invested in various youth employment initiatives. It granted 200 students access to education and empowered 6,000 youth and women through mentorship and skill-building initiatives securing top honors at the 7th Edition of the National Diversity and Inclusion Awards & Recognition (DIAR Awards) themed, “Awarding Investors in People, Planet Guardians, and Champions of Prosperity for Posterity.”

NCBA was feted among organizations that are making a lasting impact in workplaces, communities, and the environment. As a leader in corporate social responsibility, NCBA Bank amplified its impact through 80+ strategic engagements across key focus areas, aligning with its mission to drive sustainable development, inclusivity, and innovation.

In nature and biodiversity, NCBA planted 426,678 trees to combat climate change and preserve biodiversity, remarkable strides in environmental conservation, contributing to Kenya’s afforestation efforts.

NCBA is actively promoting gender diversity and financial independence for women as it partnered with 6 key partners supporting gender diversity programs plus over 600 women in economic empowerment initiatives.

NCBA recognizes the role of sports in youth development and community engagement and engaged over 12,000 players engaged in various sports programs and over 500 NCBA staff actively participated in community engagement activities. Through these impactful engagements, NCBA Bank continues to drive meaningful change, reinforcing its commitment to people, the planet, and prosperity for future generations.
