President William Ruto said he held discussions with OpenAI Chief on opportunities to deepen collaboration in artificial intelligence and digital transformation.

According to President Ruto, discussions focused on potential areas of cooperation including establishing Nairobi as the home of the first OpenAI Academy initiative in Eastern Africa.
