In a statement, Nigeria’s Managing Director, Massimiliano said,  “Building an online shop and presence is an excellent way of reaching out to many customers across Africa and the best way to reach customers throughout Nigeria. www.kaymu.com.ng, offers a cost effective and simple way for sellers to create their own free online store where products such as mobile phones, computers, beauty, home and much more can be sold to buyers.”

Users such as electronic store owners to individual sellers are urged to sign up and create their own shops and sell online. The users also have to the product details such as the condition, make, model, type, size or even photos and list the product either as an auction listing or a fixed price option.

Recently, Nigeria’s Konga also announced opening up its platform to everyone to sell on it after a one year pilot. Seems Kaymu just wanted to make some noise about their platform that has long existed. Kaymu also enables sellers to manage their inventors, transactions, sale processes and communication.
