Ernest Mwoya is well on his way to joining the real estate world after bagging million shillings in the ongoing GOtv ‘Dunga Milli’ competition.

After the recently concluded analogue switch off many households were left on the dark and it is the Army officer’s desire to see his children get back to watching their favorite programs that led him to buy a GOtv decoder from Kenyatta barracks in Gildgil.

“I never considered it a priority to get a set-top box till the kids came home for holiday,” said Mr. Mwoya. “I went to the Armed Forces Canteen at Nakuru’s Kenyatta Barracks and asked for a GOtv decoder as it was the most popular with my colleagues in the camp.”

It has been two weeks of excitement for Mr. Mwoya’s family whose kids have already become fond with GOtv programming. “My kids now enjoy seeing animal shows on Nat Geo Wild and they are also falling in love with Blackbelt and numerous other local programmes,” he said.

Mr. Mwoya is the seventh winner of one million shillings prize money in the ongoing GOtv Dunga Milli competition that is now in its 8th and final week. The competition is rewarding Kenyans on a daily and weekly basis for going digital with GOtv, while enjoying the instant benefits of increased choice in local and international content.

The over joyed Army officer said that the prize money will enable him engage in income-generating activities that will supplement his monthly salary.

“I’m planning to delve into the real estate sector by constructing some rental houses,” Mr. Mwoya said.

In addition to the one million prize money, there are also daily draws where every GOtv buyer stands a chance to win prizes of Sh15, 000, airtime plus annual GOtv subscriptions.1W6A9708
