Jumia.com.ng, Nigeria’s online shopping firm recently partnered with the ‘1 Child, 1 Book’ initiative to deliver free books to pupils of the Ojota Primary School in Lagos, Nigeria.
The partnership is in line with Jumia’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and placing its mark in improving the level of literacy in society particularly among kids.
The ‘1 Child, 1 Book’ is an initiative of the Tosin Jegede Foundation. Others in attendance were representatives of DHL and First City Monument Bank co-sponsors of the event. Also in attendance were representatives from the local government and state government.
