UK-based money transfer service Transferbee has officially launched in Nigeria Eskimi as the main channel for its local launch in a move to offer cheap and convenient money transfer from Nigerians living in the UK to to their families and friends in Nigeria.
Transferbee will be sent money directly to a receivers mobile phone in Nigeria and is cheaper than through banks or other systems will charge only 4.5 pounds for the transaction. The firm is now working with Teasy Mobile Money and Cellulant Wallet.
Titas Bledis, CEO of Transferbee said they chose Eskimi to launch their service in Nigeria for their high reach.
“We are happy to experience extremely high engagement of Eskimi users. In a month time we have grown our fanclub in Eskimi to more than 55’000 fans and Facebook likes to more than 27’000 using display media and Eskimi engagement tools like treasure hunt”.
According to a release statement made available to TechMoran, Eskimi launched display media, engagement tools, data collection and reverse promotion campaign for Transferbee so as to introduce the new brand in Nigeria, inform money receivers about better conditions to receive money and also had innovative tools to reach and engage with the money senders from UK, the country Transferbee operates from.
