main_visual Samsung today launched a slimmer and lighter tablet of its Galaxy Tab range dubbed Galaxy Tab S with a Super AMOLED screen and an Adaptive Display for the best visual experience anywhere, anytime for both video and photo content.

Both the 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch models of the Tablet have a thickness of 6.6mm and weigh some 298g and 467g respectively plus come with a longer-lasting battery, and Ultra-Power Saving Mode.

The Slim and Light, premium design GALAXY Tab S, like their counterparts allow users to make and receive voice calls from their smartphone on the GALAXY Tab S using the Side Sync 3.0 application while multitasking or receive calls from the tablet when your phone is not within reach.

For security, the GALAXY Tab S comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the devices home key; Users can unlock the screen & access their user account with a simple swipe of the finger. The fingerprint scanner allows up to 8 different users to conveniently access their individual accounts. With a child lock, a user can allow kids to use the devices without access to their apps and documents.

“The tablet is becoming a popular personal viewing device for enjoying content, which makes the quality of the display a critical feature.”With the launch of the Galaxy Tab S, Samsung is setting the industry bar higher for the entire mobile industry. It will provide consumers with a visual and entertainment experience that brings colours to life, beautifully packaged in a sleek and ultra-portable mobile device,” said Manoj Changarampatt, Samsung Mobile Director.
