I bet you just get on Instagram to like, comment and post photos.
However, Instagram is more than just a photo app. There’s so much more you can do on IG than you think. The more you know the better your experience will be on IG and you will end up discovering new things that will just change your user experience.
1. You can turn on notifications from people you follow
If there’s an account you’re interested in then it’s time to turn notifications on. Every time that person posts you will always get notifications. Click the drop down menu and you will find the options there for turning on notifications.
2. You can remove from tags from someone’s photo
Did someone tag you and you want to untag yourself? Fear not, here’s how to do it. Go to the photo you don’t want to be tagged in and select your username. You’ll then see two options: to either be removed from post or hide from profile choose either option as they will both work.
3. See recent posts you have liked
You can see the recent posts you have liked and what your friends have also liked which can be a bit stalkerish so don’t like creepy things as other people will see it. Simply go to your profile, click the three bars in the top-right of the screen, and then select Settings > Account > Posts You’ve Liked.
4. You can edit pics like a pro
Forget just filters, this is not the editing we are talking about. We mean you can make your pictures look totally different by using all the editing tools such as brightness, contrast, structure, warmth, and saturation.
5. Use less data while using IG
You know how IG takes up much data? Well, you can change that today. You can put you Instagram on data saving mode by choosing the Settings option, tap Cellular Data Use and then toggle Data Saver mode on. Uploading videos may take a longer time but you save a lot of bundles.
