Huawei set to launch Enjoy Z 5G on May 24 targeting mid-range market


Huawei is set to launch Enjoy Z 5G to add to its Enjoy series phones. The phone was teased by the brand’s online store Huawei Mall and is set to debut officially on May 24. Ahead of the upcoming event, listings reveal that Huawei is targeting the mid-range market segment with the device.

Reportedly, the upcoming model will be the most affordable Huawei smartphone with support for fifth-generation mobile communications (5G). The teaser also hints a possible screen bending to the sides. The phone is likely to have a Full HD+ panel.


The Huawei Enjoy Z 5G packs a 90Hz refresh rate, display of 2400×1080 pixel resolution with a 6.5″ panel.

Around the back, the Enjoy Z 5G has a triple camera setup, which is a combination of a 48MP, 8MP and 2MP units. It also packs a recess on the right side of the phone for a fingerprint scanner. It also features a 16MP selfie camera

The Enjoy Z 5G will have three memory options – 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB – and it will come in Sakura Snow Clear Sky, Magic Night Black and Dark Blue colour variations.

The smartphone will run Android 10 based on EMUI 10.1. It supports MediaTek MT6873V chipset and Octa-core (4×2.0GHz Cortex-A76 and 4×2.0GHz Cortex-A55)

According to Gizmochina, it could be a rebranded Honor X10 5G that is scheduled to launch on May 20. It will have a Kirin 710F SoC at the helm. It houses a non-removable Li-Po 4000mAh battery
