Trueflutter.com, a matchmaking app designed specifically for Africans across the world has raised funding from the Lagos Angel Network, SSE Angel Network and SGC7375 Angels.
Trueflutter, based out of Lagos and built for African singles searching for long term relationships and life partners, uses algorithms to help users find partners compatible with their African culture and value systems.
According to Dare Olatoye, Trueflutter’s Co-Founder and CEO, “We know our people, understand their preferences and have put that knowledge into building the world’s most culturally compatible matchmaking app. The backing of these Networks is an important milestone in our mission to make Trueflutter platform available to Africans globally. The investment will help us accelerate our ambitious growth plans and take it to Africans across the globe.”
Also speaking, Tokoni Amiesimaka a member of SSE Angel Network said – “We are pleased to support Dare and his team’s customer-centric approach and focus on building a secure, culturally-intelligent, and globally accessible dating platform for Africans. With the widespread adoption of digital social platforms, we believe our investment will empower the Trueflutter team to help African singles, especially millennials, to initiate and build lasting relationships online.”
David Harper, member of SGC7375 Angels on his part said, “My group is very happy to be part of investors taking Dare and his Team to the next phase of their successful product. We feel it is important to support young African entrepreneurs in their products that ultimately fulfill a need and reward the hard work that goes into creating them”
