Samsung today launched the Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S21 + and the Galaxy S21 which fall under its Galaxy S Series range of smartphones globally.
The Galaxy S21 was designed for those who want a light design and compact 6.2-inch display while the Galaxy S21+ sports an expanded 6.7-inch display and a larger battery, perfect for marathon gamers and binge-watchers.
The Galaxy S21 series introduces an all-new, iconic Contour Cut Camera housing that seamlessly blends into the device’s metal frame for a sleek, yet striking, aesthetic. Galaxy S21 touts an intelligent, edge-to-edge Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O display with adaptive 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and viewing. It automatically adjusts the frame rate based on the content whether you’re swiping through your social feeds or watching shows.
The display is also easy on the eyes. To help reduce eye fatigue, the new Eye Comfort Shield automatically adjusts the blue light based on the time of day, content you’re viewing, and your bedtime.
Galaxy S21 Ultra that is S-pen enabled is the largest member of the Galaxy S21 series with a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a refresh rate that adjusts to the content you’re viewing from 10Hz to 120Hz to ensure you enjoy the best image while staying power efficient to stretch your battery life even further.
Compared with the Galaxy S20, S21 Ultra offers a 25% brighter picture at a 1,500nits of peak brightness, the brightest on a Galaxy smartphone. The S21 and S21+ have a coated luxurious haze finish on the back for a sophisticated look and feel. The Galaxy S21 Ultra is available in Phantom Black and Phantom Silver and it is coated in a luxurious haze finish for an all-around sophisticated and timeless look.
Galaxy S21 Ultra also has three Exclusive Samsung.com Colorways- Phantom Titanium, Phantom Navy, and Phantom Brown and offers improved durability with Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus.
Samsung also launched the Galaxy buds Pro with an improved three microphone system with Wind Shield makes your voice sound crisper than ever. Users can switch between their phones and tablets, so Samsung added Auto Switch to Galaxy Buds Pro.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 range of devices will be available for Pre-order from January 22nd to February 11th 2021. The Galaxy S21 Ultra (512 GB) will retail for Ksh 169,999 , the Galaxy S21 Ultra (256 GB) will retail for Ksh 153,999, the Galaxy S21+ will retail at Ksh 124,999.
The Galaxy S21 (256 GB) will retail at Ksh 105,999 while the Galaxy S21(128 GB) will retail at Ksh 99,999. All pre-orders will also include a free Galaxy SmartTag.
