Statistica projections for 2016-2023 also indicate that worldwide smartphone users have surpassed three billion and are forecast to grow by several hundred million in the next few years with over 2 billion people using it for e-commerce transactions. This means by the end of 2023, there would be more users than depending on mobile for e-commerce transactions.
