Google started working on dark mode for Search on the web soon after it introduced the feature on Android last year. Now, word is that the company has started rolling out the feature across the globe.

The Next Web’s Matt Navarra reported that dark theme has slowly started making its way to Google Search users accessing the service on Windows 10 and macOS powered devices. “Google ‘dark theme’ on the desktop is rolling out,” he wrote in a Twitter thread demonstrating the service.

You will know if you have received the dark theme on your desktop browser when you see the ‘Dark Theme is now available’ notification in Google Search for the web. The report also says that the feature is not limited to the company’s Chrome browser. The feature also works when users access it from other popular web browsers, which includes Mozilla’s Firefox and Microsoft’s Edge.
