Not long ago, Qualcomm just announced the presence of its latest 5G chipset, the Snapdragon 778G. Although it has not been specified in the specifications of which smartphones will use this chipset in the future, Realme has announced that one of its smartphones, codenamed “Quicksilver,” will be carried with a snapdragon 778G chipset.

Snapdragon 778G 5G has outstanding performance and advanced gaming features. Realme’s new smartphone will be one of the first devices to be equipped with the Snapdragon 778G 5G mobile platform. In the future, realme will continue to deliver the leap forward experience and the most favorite 5G smartphone for young people,” said Chase Xu as vice president and president of global marketing of realme in its official release.

The Snapdragon 778G chipset comes with a Kryo 670 CPU with Adreno 642L GPU for performance processes upgraded up to 40% faster than the previous generation. The chipset is also powered by the 6th generation Qualcomm AI Engine with Qualcomm Hexagon 770, enhanced by the 2nd generation Qualcomm Sensing Hub platform capable of integrating low-power AI processors specifically for contextual awareness use.

Realme itself has been working closely with Qualcomm in presenting a variety of smartphone products to users in various circles. In early 2021, Realme has introduced the Realme GT as one of the first devices to use Snapdragon 888 in the world. Now, the cooperation is again presented through the Quicksilver-coded smartphone that will be announced soon.
