Apple is changing its strategy as far as the production of the iPhones is brought to the limelight. The manufacturer plans to have a 48-megapixel sensor in the iPhone 14 Pro series smartphones come 2022.

Compared with other smartphone makers, Apple still has to put effort into its smartphone cameras. The Cupertino firm’s initial plan since 2010 has been to provide better iPhones that can shoot decent images by focusing so much on photo processing.

In 2022, the path might change

According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who gives accurate predictions on Apple products, the manufacturer plans to include a 48-megapixel sensor in the iPhone 14 Pro. If this is the case, there is no doubt that the next  iPhones will have the capability to record videos at 8K

Remember that in 2022 we also expect that the Apple headset will be formally presented. 8K videos will now come in hand as the idea would be to broadcast videos in high-definition on the VR headsets. There is also a high probability that Apple might incorporate a periscope into its next iPhones to provide a higher-quality zoom.
