The game centers on 26 briefcases, each possessing randomly assigned sums of cash. The player selects one case at the start of the game but cannot view the amount of money in that case.
The player then eliminates cases from the game while periodically being presented with the option to quit the game by accepting an offer from The Banker. Suspense increases as cases are eliminated and everyone tries to work out what money remains.
