While Intel still appears unsure about its semiconductor market in the future.AMD appears to be taking a more favorable side, especially with the release of its latest processor. To start with, the Ryzen 5000 series successors based on Zen 3 cores are anticipated.

Despite the many advantages that the Ryzen 5000 series brings, the latter are severely harmed by the newest Intel generation. Furthermore, AMD had promised a makeover. As a result, the Zen 4 microarchitecture should be available by the end of the year. On the other hand, AMD declined to confirm the most recent reports, suggesting a launch before September.

Raphael CPUs for desktop PCs will so have Zen 4 cores and other innovations. The  LGA1718 will debut, and AMD will take advantage of the chance to include PCIe Gen 5 and DDR5 functionality. We should note that AMD’s new roadmap isn’t only for the next few months; it also includes two capital releases for the year 2023 and the end of 2022.

The manufacturer also intends to produce components capable of powering gaming laptops next year. This ambitious effort will be built on Dragon Range processors, which are mobile CPUs with a maximum of 16 cores designed for gaming. For the time being, all we know is that Dragon Range will be compatible with PCIe Gen 5 and DDR5.
