Jovago Africa’s leading online hotel booking platform today visited the Lagos State Government Motherless Babies Home, Lion’s Village, Lekki to join them in celebrating Children’s Day in a special way
In celebration of the Children’s Day, some members of the Jovago ,visited the orphanage bearing baby food items and toiletries to complement efforts by the Centre’s administration and Nigeria’s Government. The team spent time with the children playing games, changing diapers and also feeding the babies.
The children, who ranged from infancy to age 5, were very excited to have the Jovago staff there and took turns showing them around their play area, TV room and also playing with them.
“We are always happy to have people come in to spend time with the children”, said Mrs. Aderonke Oguntoyinbo, Matron of the Lagos State Motherless Babies Home, “It is such a pleasure to have members of the Jovago team make out time to spend with the children, especially on a special day like this. The Online Hotel Booking platform, Jovago.com which aims to help travellers find hotels around the world, wants to give back to the community that has helped the company grow so quickly. This Children’s day visit to the orphanage is the first in its plan to positively influence the community through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
