Recently, the federal government of Nigeria also launched the #BuyNaija campaign to promote Nigerian made goods.\n\n<a href="http:\/\/tembe.com.ng">Tembe.com.ng <\/a>is a platform contributing to this fight by providing local manufacturers an avenue to sell their products, without having to compete for attention with foreign-made goods.\n\nThe platform was designed exclusively to allow Nigerians buy and sell made-in-Nigeria goods. Categories on the platform range from gadgets, to fashion and art.\n\nVendors register and post products for free, only paying a small percentage after a concluded sale. This percentage also depends\u00a0on the category, between 3% to 35%.\n\nThe platform \u00a0helps with payment processing and delivery logistics. Customers can also rate and review the quality of products they have purchased\n\nTembe's idea is laudable and is sure to help strengthen the efforts to make Nigerians embrace locally made goods.
