Whether you are parking in Nairobi CBD, Westlands, Kilimani, Upper Hill, Community, Ngara, HighRidge, Industrial Area, or Yaya Center, this post will show you how to pay for your parking space using Mpesa.

The fees are primarily determined by the type of parking you select, the zone, and the category of your vehicle. Taxis and private vehicles, for example, pay Ksh 200 for daily parking in the CBD, whereas buses pay Ksh 1,000.

Here’s how it’s done:

  • Enter *235# into your phone.
  • For parking, select Option 1.
  • On the following page, select your preferred type of parking, such as daily, seasonal, or off-street.
  • Then, on the following page, enter the Number Plate. Respond with your zone, such as CBD, Westlands, or Upperhill.
  • Pick your vehicle type, such as bus, private car, or taxi.
  • To proceed to payment, press 1.
  • To complete payment, enter your Mpesa pin.
  • Once completed, a message with payment information will be sent to your phone.
