Now, you may backup your iPhone data to a 4G network

The second beta of iOS 16 has been available to developers for a while. And this one has already provided the chance to learn about a feature that will be included in a later release of the operating system.

Apple recently launched beta 2, even though iOS 16’s launch date is only around the corner. There is a function in the program that will make your iPhone’s data backup mechanism easier to use.

When you weren’t close to a Wi-Fi network, you might have already desired to back up your iPhone using iCloud. And the good news is that you may now do this using a 4G connection if you’re a future user of an Apple device running iOS 16 or iPadOS 16.

Customers using iOS 16 can now back up their iPhone via an LTE cellular connection, as well as a 5G or Wi-Fi connection, according to the brand’s paper sent to Apple concerning this capability.

If backing up your device using a 5G connection was already conceivable, it was not the case with 4G. Although we don’t yet have all the information regarding how it operates, that’s still reasonably fantastic news.

As a reminder, everyone will have access to the public beta of iOS 16 starting in July. But until we can get our hands on the OS’s final iteration, we’ll have to wait until next fall.
