Anticipation mounts as Oppo teases the launch of its next flagship Wear OS smartwatch, the Oppo Watch X, scheduled for February 29 in Malaysia.
The unveiling comes just three days after the debut of the OnePlus Watch 2, which bears a striking resemblance to the Oppo Watch X, hinting at potential similarities in design and specifications.
“The Oppo Watch X is poised to feature a sleek design akin to the OnePlus Watch 2, along with comparable specifications. These are expected to include a vibrant 1.43-inch OLED display boasting a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip and running on Google’s latest Wear OS 4 platform. Available color options for the Oppo Watch X are reported to be Platinum Black and Mars Brown, adding a touch of style to its functionality,” GSMA Arena reported.
In additional developments, the Oppo Watch X (model number OWW231) has recently obtained certifications from MIIT and 3C, affirming key features such as 4G LTE connectivity through an eSIM and support for 10W fast charging.
Speculations also suggest a robust 500mAh battery capacity, promising extended usage on a single charge.
