iTunes Remote application controls music libraries and other content on the iPhone.
Apple has released the latest version 4.5 of the iTunes Remote application for iOS. The application update features dark themes with enhanced support for new music and TV apps.
The update follows a recent release of the macOS Catalina 10.15.2. The update has brought back support for controlling media playback remotely through the iPhone or iPad.
This had been previously discontinued in Catalina and the app was not working on the latest version of macOS.
The dark mode will support all devices running on iOS 13 and iPad 13.
According to a statement by the company, “iTunes Remote is the best way to control Apple Music. From the iTunes and Apple Tv application, you can control music from anywhere in your home by simply download the app to your iPhone, iPad or directly to Apple Music, iTunes or the Apple TV on your mac or pc”.
Reportedly, Apple has fixed some bugs and improved the overall performance of the application with the new update.
The dark theme has been a new trend for a while now. Applications such as Twitter, Windows 10, Firefox, Googles Gmail and Facebook-owned Instagram have since rolled out the themes for their users.
WhatsApp, on the other hand, has been rumoured to roll out by the end of 2019 or early phase of 2020.
Apple rolling out on its inbuilt iTunes app, chances are there will be an increased number of users rolling on the iTunes.
Sources reveal that most users are fantasized with the dark theme with most applications working on an inbuilt dark mode.
