Nigeria has increased its mobile subscription by 7 percent since the beginning of this year,this percentage equates the total number of connections to 120 million. This is is confirmed by statistics released by the country’s communication authority, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC). BlackBerry last week posted an unexpected first quarter loss after disappointing sales of its new phones. The company experienced a 20 percent fall in shares. Uganda has officially increased its internet usage up to 85 percent in the last 12 months up until June 2013, says MTN Uganda.
