On October 18, Apple will use its keynote to unveil its next generation of wireless buds. The event, dubbed “Unleashed,” will occur upcoming Monday at 20hrs Kenyan time and is expected to highlight the new MacBook Pro M1X. AirPods 3 could even invite themselves to the event come monday.

Is it finally time for the AirPods 3 to be unveiled?

The AirPods 3 were supposed to be unveiled at the September event to coincide with the iPhone 13, but they were not ready. According to Chinese insider PandaIsBald, this time, it’s the proper one. He’s already shown himself trustworthiness in the past, mainly when it came to the iPad 9’s unveiling.

The AirPods 3 should have a design similar to the AirPods Pro, but with a considerably shorter shaft, according to renderings unearthed a few months ago. They would provide spatial audio with dynamic tracking of head motions on the functionality side, giving the impression that the sound emanates from all directions. They would not, however, be eligible for active noise reduction, which would be reserved for AirPods Pro and AirPods Pro Max.

For the time being, no pricing has been revealed, but we can expect it to be similar to, if not equal to, the AirPods 2, which cost Ksh 23,000  (179 euros) with charge case and Ksh 30,00(229 euros) with wireless charging case.

What are Our thoughts on the AirPods Pro 2?

When it comes to the AirPods Pro 2, you’ll probably have to wait a bit longer. According to the earliest reports, they will be released in the third quarter of 2022. These new high-end wireless headphones would have longer battery life, more effective active noise cancellation, and the incorporation of ambient light sensors.

The MacBook Pro M1X, AirPods 3, and potentially the next version of macOS, Monterey, whose formal debut is expected for this autumn, should emphasise the presentation on October 18. Following Monday, TechMoran will inform you what Apple has in store for us.
